Project Overview
Having already worked successfully together on numerous occasions, Wright Concrete Products were pleased to team up with Glebe builders for their recent project, supplying concrete flooring and stairs to the new premises for Donegal Town Credit Union.
The steel framed structure designed by McCabe Architects, required a keen eye for detail from our Design and Production Teams to ensure the various angles, services and support beams were blended effortlessly during construction.
Product Solution
After being awarded the contract, our Engineering Team reviewed the structural requirements of the floor, specifying a 200mm Prestressed Hollowcore Slab. With several spans in excess of 7m, thicker strand was required in a number of slabs to support the specified load requirements. A double hanger bracket was also supplied to site by Wright Concrete Products to support slabs around the lift shaft opening.
The new building features 3 staircases consisting of 5 flights of precast concrete stairs and 2 landing slabs. These were also designed, manufactured and installed by our team. The entire installation took just two days using a mobile tower crane.
