In addition to large scale dispatches we have experience in specialist, reduced access precast installations. We can provide rigid trucks and truck-mounted off-loaders in addition to flat trailers and euroliners in our articulated fleet.

Installation

Wright Quarry Products offer a professional installation service using experienced and suitably trained construction personnel. Each Residential, Commercial and Civil project will be managed by a Contracts Manager, who has many years’ hands on experience in precast concrete installation and is an Appointed Person (AP) to manage all site lifting operations.

The Contracts Manager will  usually visit site prior to the installation works, agree suitable installation dates, and issue site specific method statements, including lifting plans where relevant. All works will be planned and undertaken in accordance with current HSE requirements regarding health and safety. All specific attendances required from the Main Contractor will be confirmed at this visit together with a discussion on the proposed installation sequence.

The installation team will comprise a fitting supervisor and sufficient experienced and trained operatives. The supervisor will ensure that the method statement and lifting plan is followed and that any amendments to these plans are only carried out following consultation and agreement with the Contracts Manager. They will ensure that the units are installed in accordance with the contract drawings and that all legislative and Company health and safety requirements are fully complied with.

We require the Main Contractor to provide suitable access roads and bases for the delivery vehicles and craneage. The area in which craneage/installation works is taking place must be kept clear of all other personnel. On completion of the works the supervisor will formally hand over the finished floor to the Contractors Representative for acceptance.
